Most of our endeavours involve one or more technological components because we believe that technology supports progress and innovation - when designed well and seamlessly supporting efficient and value-add processes. Integrating Public Health and Primary Care

Accomplishments

Developed > 10 winning proposals in response to call for tenders for Akinox’s care workflow automation platforms (including referral management), pandemic and vaccine verification applications – Vaxi Code / Vaxi Code Verif, and clinical trial solution (WeTrials)
Performed competitive analysis and provided recommendations re:
- Evolving trends in digital health – incl., AI, digital identity (EU Digital Wallet) & identity, integration, patient portals, referral management, public health surveillance, virtual health.
Secured funding for security certifications and privacy impact assessments (PIAs) across Canadian and American jurisdictions.

Established provincially in Québec based on its award-winning digital health workflow automation platform and solutions, Akinox seeks to expand its market presence more broadly in anglophone markets.

Managed Contact Centre Services

Elections Canada (Client) / Maximus Canada (Vendor)

Overseeing 70+ resources to establish operation according to EC requirements such as:
- Renovation of entire floor, including upgrade to Protected B level, installation of furniture and 250 workstations
- Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
- Federal Security Requirements Check List (~ 200 items)
- Configuration and implementation of IT infrastructure and > 10 applications, incl., citizen portal
- Service Management Plan (incl., Incident Management, Business Continuity Plans)
- Selection, language testing, security clearance, and onboarding of > 350 call centre resources
- Implementation of Inquiries Quality Assurance Program and scorecard - incl., resourcing model leading to $500k in savings

Establish the cross-functional/organizational implementation of a national contact centre to handle and support queries during the 2019 General Elections, and the transition to a ‘non-election’ framework.

Panorama Public Health Information System

Health Canada / ISC – FNIHB | Co-Funded by Canada Health Infoway

Digital transformation initiative to establish Panorama as the electronic system of choice for the capture of health data related to outbreak & investigations, vaccine administration and management for 83 First Nations across Saskatchewan.

Led the Client and Consulting teams to successfully:
- Navigate complex political environments involving 83 First Nations, three (3) Federal entities, the SK Ministry of Health, and eHealth SK
- Secure two contract renewals
- Confirm ‘subscription’ to Panorama by 90% of communities for IOM, Immunizations and Inventory modules
- Deliver Privacy Impact Assessment, Legislation/Regulations reviews, Training packages, Standard Operating Procedures, and Benefits Evaluation.

Accomplishments

Antibiotics Access & Capacity Initiative

Canadian Antimicrobial Innovation Coalition (CAIC)

Development of an integrated model to improve the health of Canadians by optimizing the use of novel antibiotics and alleviating market access barriers following the principles of accessibility, stewardship, and reasonable costs.

Within a six-month period, conciliated various interest groups to deliver:
- Environmental scan and Pan-Canadian stakeholder consultations with key players across the antibiotic supply chain.
- Integrated National Antibiotic Access Model considering stewardship and incentives
- Cumulative business case for consumption by Health Canada (HC) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

Destination S/4HANA

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)

Acting on behalf of Digital Projects Oversight & Delivery (DPOD) Director, guided and assisted Executive with the preparation of the project deployment strategy and roadmap, and the materials for the Gate 2 Treasury Board Submission (including IT Solution Design and Cloud Hosting Solution) of the enterprise-wide modernization of SAP.

Guided and supported Executive Sponsors on:
- Overall project plan and steps required to get to/through the TBS gating process
- The organization's capacity and capability to successfully deliver on the initiative in short and long-term
- The Governance and Project Management Office Organizational structure.
